So matagal ko po siyang pinipilit or tinutulungan na i-convince to go to the hospital to have a check-up,” kwento ni Elijah.
“Honestly nahihirapan na po siyang huminga and everything like that. So I am proud of her for having the courage to do it finally. To have herself checked and to even face those procedures na pinagdaanan niya. Kasi hindi po madali ‘yon for someone who has a phobia of hospitals and needles,” paliwanag ng binata.
“Accepting the project wasn’t hard at all. This is a very historic collaboration of ABS-CBN, GMA and Viu. I’m more than grateful to be part of it. Returning to acting was wild. I didn’t think I would miss it as much as I did. The energy on set still invigorates me. Doing an acting project now that I’m a mom involves a lot of scheduling and planning,” paglalahad ni Dionne.
“Coming to the Philippines after more than two years of living abroad is something I’ve been so excited about. I missed my family and long time friends so much. I missed Filipino food. I missed the beach but I did not miss sitting in traffic for hours though,” natatawang pahayag niya.
“It is important for us that she knows her roots. So far, I have taken her to my hometown, to the public markets I went to with my mom to buy meat and vegetables. And to the places where I played at as a child,” paliwanag ng aktres.
MANILA, Philippines — Holders of driver’s license with five-year or 10-year validity will no longer need to undergo the prescribed periodic medical examination (PME), the Land Transportation Office (LTO) said yesterday.
LTO chief Jay Art Tugade ordered the amendments to LTO Memorandum Circular 2021-2285 or the Supplemental Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act 10930.
The memorandum provided that those with a five-year or 10-year valid driver’s license still need to undergo a PME aside from the regular medical examination as a requirement in applying for a new driver’s license or its renewal.
Tugade said the LTO deemed it wise to waive the PME requirement based on various studies, data collected and consultation conducted by the agency.
“There’s no empirical data saying that the periodic medical examination could prevent road crashes,” Tugade said.
He said data also showed that failure to undergo the required PME is not included among causes of road crashes.
He said under the amended circular, the mandatory medical examination will now be a requirement only before applying for, and during renewal, of a driver’s license.
“For licensees who will be issued a five-year validity driver’s license and 10-year validity driver’s license, the medical examination shall only be required 60 days prior to or on the specified renewal date,” Tugade added.
According to Tugade, Filipino driver’s who are working or living abroad will be required to undergo a medical examination within 30 days upon their arrival in the Philippines before they are allowed to drive in the country.
Actress Nadine Lustre revealed that she doesn’t want to have her own children.
In Bea Alonzo’s YouTube channel, Nadine said that she’s afraid be pregnant and deliver a baby.
“First of all, takot akong manganak. ‘Yun talaga ‘yung pinaka-reason ko kung bakit ayaw ko magkaroon ng kids na sarili,” she said.
“Takot ako mabuntis, takot ako manganak,” she added.
Nadine believed that she can become a parent without giving birth.
“Ang dami kasing kids na walang parents. So, right now, parang my mind is set on adopting,” she said.
In the same interview, Nadine talked about her boyfriend Christophe Bariou, saying that it’s easy to have a non-showbiz boyfriend.
“It is easier to date someone who’s not in showbiz?” Bea asked Nadine.
“For sure, yeah. Kasi walang influence ng ibang tao,” she said.
“Si Chris kasi, parang siya ‘yung anchor ko sa labas ng show business which is something that I need. Kapag nasa showbiz ka kasi, something it gets to loud. It gets too noisy. Siya ‘yung humahatak sa akin when it gets to crazy,” she added.

—LBG, GMA Integrated News
